Questions, answered
How is this different from Gmail's schedule send?
Gmail and Outlook can schedule mail, but only for their own inboxes and only through their apps. HoraMail works with any SMTP mailbox, including your own domain, and it sends from our server, so nothing depends on your device being awake.
Do my emails really send when my computer is off?
Yes. Once you schedule a message it is handed to our always-on backend. Your machine plays no part in the actual send, so shutting it down changes nothing.
Is my SMTP password safe?
We encrypt every SMTP credential at rest with AES-256-GCM. The keys are never written to logs and are never returned to the browser.
Can HoraMail read my scheduled emails while they wait?
No. From the moment you schedule, the body, subject, recipients, and attachments are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, each email under its own key. They are decrypted in memory only for the instant it takes to hand the message to your mailbox, and the body and attachments are permanently erased right after they send. A stolen database or storage bucket would reveal nothing usable.
Which mail providers work with HoraMail?
